The film along with its dubbed Telugu Version "Sakuni" will be released on June 22, 2012.

Saguni audio album that was launched on 2nd of June is already making vibes and now the makers have confirmed the release date to be July 6th.

Producer Antony Xavier of Dream Warrior Pictures banner has claimed, Saguni will hit the screens on 6th of this July and will be simultaneously released in Telugu as Shakuni. GV Prakash has composed the audio and background music for Saguni that has hit 2.5lakh downloads so far. Saguni is all set to entertain audiences with the roles of Santhanam as Rajini, Karthi as Kamal and Praneetha as Sridevi. Anushka will be seen in a cameo while Radhika Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Roja are playing the prominent roles in Saguni. Technical crew of Saguni includes cinematography by P. G. Muthiah and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.

The soundtrack, composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, consists of 5 tracks. The audio launch was initially to be held on May 11, but postponed to 2 June. The Telugu version would release on 5 June. Two songs along with the videos were launched on May 21, Karthi's birthday. The song "Kandha Kaaravadai" has been downloaded 75,000 times.
